Yosemite National Park

May 15 – 19, 2013
September 18 – 22, 2013

One of the first wilderness parks in the United States, Yosemite National Park is one of America’s best known icons. Within the park, Yosemite Valley is home to many famous cliffs and waterfalls.

September is the perfect time to visit Yosemite, with pleasant daytime temperatures, fall colors, and fewer visitors than the summer months. Enjoy the camaraderie of working with other outdoor enthusiasts and have fun while “giving back” to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In 2007, Conservation VIP supported the creation of a “Sister Park” partnership between Yosemite National Park in California and Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia, Chile. Sister Parks encourage volunteers, businesses, communities and parks to work together to protect these important natural resources and environments.
